Pump problem

Well looking at the picture i would say your getting 0.02 flow  In either of the aqua USB or aquasuite does it show that the pump is on. To much over voltage and you will kill the voltage relay and resistor in the controler causing it to still work but will not show up on software and status lights will stay on all the time ( mine had both red and green on all the time ), did you use the 10 pin ribbon that came from AC or did you buy it local from a computer shop ? at any ponit did you put power to both the aquaero and aquastream at the same time? ( that will cause this for sure )

Yeah... what she said.

First of all, did you reverse the in / output of your block as it was backwards? Are there adjustments on your power supply to calm the 12v feed?

A very good question.

A very good question.

I never powered both and yes I reversed the in/out to the XT. I have a PC P&C 510 SLI, I havent had a chance to see if I an adjust it. BTW, I hooked up a smaller PSU to the system and got the same results.

No I havent as of yet, dreading removing all the connections and what not.

The Matrix: Do it Do it NOW

BTW, what version of pump controller do you have?

I have the same supply you do and you can adjust everything :D

Repeat post just to make sure you read it:

Now wait a minute! Didn't this whole system work properly before you got it?

Something isn't correctly hooked up or there is something going on that no one is aware of. Did you clean the XT block before installing it? What is the pump frequency set at in the Aquaero? What PSU are you using? Have you tried a different PSU? We need to get back to basics to problem solve here

Pump v 1.07

I think that may be the problem...

Let me go a looking, but flash the firmware now and follow the directions exactly!!!!!!!!!

What position is the Aquastream set at as far as the address it is using. There are two address possibilities

Are you asking about the USB address?

No, not USB. The AS-controller has a jumper next to the aquaero-bridge. With that jumper you can select the ID of your pump. Makes only sense if you are using two pumps with one Aquaero.

Ill have to check. It's amazing, I have owned 3 Porsche Turbos and I have modded the control systems on all of them. How the hell can I have so much trouble with a pump?
Maybe thats why I switched to an Aston!

If you count 1-3 from top to bottom, the jumper is on 1&2.

I am considering adding a second pump, no matter what happens the current aquastream.
I would like to get your feedback. Here is the current config.

Aquatube-Aquastream-EVO Rad 240-Cuplex XT-Twinplex NB-EVO Rad 160-GPU-GPU-Aquatube

Should'nt have any problems with cooling.

BTW, does your pump controller board look exactly like this one?

Well I don't know if you should get a second pump. Are you still running in leak-test mode or do you have it all plugged in and sitting on ready?

Firrst of all there is no need to overclock the Aquastream.
Secound is that you might connect your Aquastream to the CPU- FAN - Pins.
And last but not least thies don't sounds linke your Aquasteam is functioniung compleatly.

Has any one tried the second idea?

They were discussing the use of the RPM header on the Aquastream controller going to the MB to see what RPM the Aquastream was actually going at.

TN,

Did you find the info for the PSU for adjusting voltage?

I can't find it and their website is being updated so please call: Call 1-800-722-6555 or 1-760-931-5700

Will do.
If I hook the pump to the cpu fan on the MB will that give me any info as to whether the pump is operating correctly?

Not really because afaik that signal is only generated by the controller and does not measure the pump in any way. If the controller works without a problem it generates the signal.

It's a very primitive way to check if the pump seems to work.

Well, update your Aquaero.

At least you can flash the firmware 3.22D. Therefor you can use the old usb software and don't need to upgrade the OS or disconnect everything from your Aquaero.

I will finally have some time this evening to flash. Other than not removing the connections, is the rest of thr process the same for 3.22?

theseeker, can you post more pics please?

Trying to hold me over with pics til my stuff come this weekend.

BTW Wes at sharkacorp is great!

Flasing 3.22D is totally different from my guide because this firmware is based on the old OS. You only need to open the usb software, select firmware update, choose the file and confirm the flash.

No idea if it will help. Updating to the newest OS and firmware would be much better.

Vielen Dank! I will try that first and then proceed to new OS and firmware.

most of your waterblocks, pump setup etc,

i'm trying to gather up ideas etc on how to run my lines and stuff

are you going to post in your original thread?

More of the same!
I tried to flash 3.22d and it did not work. Something is radically wrong. :(

I already spoke with theseeker and his unit is now flashed to 3.22D :D
Yes it is flashed 3.22, but still no cigar, working on the next revision. I had to take a union break first. :D Many thanks to Top Nurse!!
