This store I work at got an FX-55 in two days ago and we have been ogling it since.

It is for sale. We have *one*. There have been about a dozen orders for it but all have cancelled or switched to 3500+ because of the long wait.

First come first serve....

no I don't get any extra money for this...

FX-55 has been out for months and has high availability, FX-57 is the highly anticipated chip. I browsed your store and saw no FX-57.

Not yet.
The Inquirer states:
This means that FX57 new AMD gaming CPU that should rock at 2.8GHz and have multipliers completely unlocked is close to its release. Maybe CeBIT?

There is no FX-57 available for sale yet. Wasn't it supposed to come out either second half of this year or next year?

CeBIT runs from March 10-16 in Hannover, Germany. With AMDs main fab located in Dresden, I would say the odds are very good it will be unveiled during this CeBIT.

to act the same as you..
i bet you can't get your 3.73ee anywhere, even though it's been launched a while ago ;)

however, i's good to hear that the fx-55 is turning up in canada. we've had pretty good stock in the states for a while now.
however, the 5x-57 should be launched soon. if it's not.. then later. i personally want a turion, but that's cause i don't have much of a budget, and those things look like they'll be able to overclock like rabid squirrels can run

Er no, but we've had some 925XE boards come and go.....

Not up here :-( this bloody thing has been backordered for two months

I wasn't at work today (snowboarding on blackcomb), I wonder if it sold...

ah.. i thought that the fact that your company got one meant that there was somewhere that was selling the reliably. i recall a few weeks ago the siuation was opposite.. canada had chips, and at decent prices where here everything was backordered and at like $1.2k

and for the record, snowboarding kicks ass ;)

I have a friend who works at Falcon Northwest (currently their ONLY Desktop builder). He's had access to FX55's since he started, which was about 2 weeks after the FX55's shipped out...

Not sure if he can buy them or if you can buy the processors through Falcon directly, he's still looking into that.

Yes, yes it does. It was such a perfect day! In the morning there was much ice but in the afternoon it turned to powdery slush; it was just cold enough to make snowboarding in shorts and a t-shirt enjoyable.

Turns out we sold the proc the day it came in, and there was a second order for it too. We got TWO procs in today (17th) which means one sold... and the other is IN STOCK ready to sell (unless another employee takes it first)!

Oh, on another note, we got 100 DFI UT NF4 Ultra boards, and 15 DFI UT SLI boards in stock today!!
