Is there any way to "Try out" Wow?

Like, a free trial or something. It's just I dont really like buying games before trying them out (I tend to rent alot) and even if it's like a demo I still like to use it. Because I know I have managed to now buy games I know I wouldnt have liked, because of renting,

So, is there anyway to try out the game? Or am I stuck trying to le a friend let me come to his house and try it out... or something.,,,

It's just, everyone I talk to is all "Zomg, this game is so addictve" etc... But I have a habit of not liking games thousands others do and all tell me are amazing (Starcraft, Diablo 2, even though I did play it alot, but mostly because all my friends play it...)

So ya, is there any like... trial for it?

There is no trial. There were a couple betas that were easy to get into prior to relase but thats about it. You are stuck trying it out at a friends.

[edit] as the above poster noted there was the 10 day trial (with the collectors edition only i thought). I assume those have all been spent. Worth asking around though.
