I just got a labtop with a wireless connection to connect to my wireless network. The problem is that it will not connect to the network that it has found. I select the network and click connect and it sits there trying to connect for about 2-3 minutess. I even made the wireless access point unsecured and it still will not connect.

Which Router/Acsess point are you using? And what kind of wireless card does yor laptop have? Also check if MAC filtering is enabled, and either add your laptops MAC adress or disable it.

Sorry got busy last night. The access point is a NetGear. The card that the labtop has is a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B. Mac Filtering is turned off. My other computers can access it. (i only made it wide open to check to see if it is possibly the Card itself.)
As I stated it see's it but will not connect. I am also trying it at work at the moment and it will not connect here also.

Have you tried updating the drivers to the most recent version?
Go through all the settings for the card and make sure security is turned off on it as well.
Have you tried connecting both through the Windows Zero configuration tool and the Intel connection tool (not familiar with intel's wireless software, but it should have come with a conection utility)?
