I just got this dual monitor thing figured out, however I don't have a tv in my room which makes me socialize with the family more. :p However, I want at least figure out how this would work.

1. What's the difference between the Hauppauge pvr-150 and the media center edition?
2. Because I already have a good and new vid card, would that ^^ be the ideal piece of hardware to make this work?
3. What plugs into what to possibly make dish network display on the monitor?
Coaxial cable from satelitte to box, coaxial cable from box to back of pvr-150 card?

Right???? :(

I now see the pvr-150 MCE has audio/video plug ins for something like a ps2/dvd player/etc.

I want this to be an option and it's actually cheaper due to some link posted here a bit ago. Better option? or is it totally something different?

I have my setup like this

Dish network reciever goes into the TV tuner card/AV in card via s-video and RCA cabling. The audio left and right is connected to a RCA stereo to 1/8 stereo connector to plug in to Audio in on the A/V card.
You will get a better picture than using coax from the receiver.

Hope this helps

what? in simple english please cause I'm dumb on this. A picture or drawing would be better.

What card? the 150mce?
