I just reinstalled Windows and I was wondering if a problem has been fixed yet.

Last time i had to turn off DEP because of a bug that involved AMD 64s, Unreal Engine 2.x based games, Service Pack 2, and certain nvidia drivers. If you played any Unreal Engine 2.x games (in my case UT2004), BSoD's with IRQL errors would rear their ugly heads.

Do any of the latest drivers get rid of this issue? I believe 66.93 has the issue, and last I heard the 67.xx series of drivers had it as well. Does anyone know if this has been fixed or will I have to turn DEP off again?

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=308 has more information on the problem.

I used to have bsods when alt tabbing back to ut2004. This problem seems to have gone away with the 71.xx drivers.

Yea this problem seems to have been fixed from all indications on the atari forums.

Because of an unreal patch or upgrade to to 71.+ drivers? I have the latest patches but running 67.03 and still get BSOD when I exit UT.....Plays just fine just craps out when I exit...

wow do i feel better, the SAME thing happens to me when i play UT2003 or UT2004. I get a message saying that a graphic driver caused this problem. All my other games work GREAT. And like you said, i can play all day......its when i exit, is when i have problems. Please let me know if the problem is fixed by the new drivers.

I do not have that problem, but I am using 71.43 drivers....My problem has been UT2004 studdering....But I think I have fixed that...

Ive also just finished testing this problem and can say I dont have iot either. Im using the 71.24 Alphas from VXG, awesome driver set I must add.
