i dont know exactly which race but you have to win a certain URL race in stage 4 to unlock the mustang

seriously i couldnt tell ya.

I stuck with my 240 through out the whole game. never did once go to the garage to look at cars except to get my suv. other than that i didnt find out til the end of the game there was no s2000. that really pissed me off

How fast are you people getting your GTO's? After tweakin my ecu and turbo thats the best i've gotten with perfect launch and 5 perfect shifts.

Oh yea post your top speeds you were able to achieve as well. My top speed is 211.6mph with the Acura RSX. I didnt take a screenshot because i was trying to get higher than that.

I'm cuious to know do you guys use ingame AA or set it under ATI Control Panel?

The strange thing is.. when i don't force AA in the Control Panel the game won't have an option for choosing AA in-game. Why would i want to force it in the CP and then turn up AA inside game too ? I don't want to slown down the game anmore...

If i try disabling AA in CP there's no option for choosing anti-aliasing in-game anymore..? I'm using ATI 4.12 Beta drivers.

btw: my mustang does 219(mph) on the dyno last i checked, and (i think) 2.78 0-60. i think it is lying about top speed tho - it doesn't change when i adjust the accel/top speed slider

the last pic is the mustang on the dyno. and yes, i'm sorry i had to do that to the mustang... the next car i get (5th one) is gonna be a RWD sleeper. i just needed a 10 star car that could get to the photo ops on time... and its the fastest one i have.

true. the game should have been free with all the in-game advertising. And why is "money' called bank? I think it is rediculous how the games tries ultra-hard to be 'cool'... i want a racing game, not a "I play a wanna-be gangster" game..

anyway, anyone have a clue what gfx options are killing my performance? mostly when i am inside of tunnels/ caves, my fraemrate drops to 20fps (on an 16-pipe 6800 with 2.21GHz Axp, gig of ram) anyone have a link to a nice optimization guide?

7 second quarter mile and 170 is the speed that it is going when it crosses the quarter mile line......................................the top speed according to the dyno is 226 but i've only gotten it to like 216.....to many damn turns in the map
