a While back and I cant recall how long but its been a minute Slashdot and a hardware review site had a picked apart miniature foot print of what was about the size of a playstation 2 console but was a all in one small biz server.

Did every thing, Domain server, Mail Server, HTTP. FTP, and so forth the list was huge. I have been trying to find this product again and who made it. I have been searching and searching with no luck...

Im not even sure I am posting this in the right area on these boards... But if any one knows of what I am talking about or an alternative please let me know!

For the benifit of those who come after me:

He's looking for an all in one business server with a very small footprint.

And to that end, I suggest against it. Keep your public data off the same computers that run your private data. This is a bad idea regardless of the OS.

i doubt it was a file server anyway, if it was not a very big one! still seems like a nice idea for small networks, rather than haveing big ass racked stuff. one box to do the lot, then computers just for file storage

Those things look kind of neat for maybe a home setup, but I wouldn't want one being the focal point of my small business network. Their top of the line system only has 512mb ram, and a single 160gb hd. While that is probably plenty of overall storage space, any business server I would want would have at least 2 disks in raid 1.
They look kind of cool, however.

I would suggest, running 2 seperate machines one for internet one for intranet... and running a low profile micro ATX built machine (maybe with a mini ITX motherboard) minimally configured hardware wise. OS is up to whatever you favor.

ITs intention for my purpose is internal use only

any one seen any others?

Reading up on the Net Box right now and its nice for alto of uses but its not what im looking for the one i orignally spoted was more geared for a MS based network even sporting a linux based domain server that XP/2000 worked with flawlessly from what they claimed
