And suddenly, firefox won't open. :(

Windows XP
I tried searching on the net but couldn't find anything that helped.
I had vers .90 and everything was fantastic.
Today it didn't want to load. So I uninstalled it, and downloaded vers 1.0, it won't load.
Any suggestions?

Did you try reinstalling?

I never tried reinstalling the first version I downloaded, I'm pretty sure I just ran the file instead of saving it.
I tried .9.3, with the same problem.
However, something interesting. I clicked on the update button for zone alarm, and it used firefox to load the webpage. Yet it still will not open using shortcuts or going to start>run>firefox.exe

edit: for some reason it's putting a space between the n & ' in Won't, so just remove the space

Thanks for the link! I'll post in it if this happens again. Firefox now is normal. I'm kind of worried that I never actually did anything to fix it, and now it works again.

I just had to go through a few reinstalls myself on this box
had some sort of download manager glitch I pointed the download to my A:/ drive once
and then changed it for the next download, but it wouldnt let go
kept prompting me for a disk in drive A:/
regardless if it was pointed to a dedicated download folder on C:/ or if it was set to prompt me for each file
(you could click through a half dozen prompts and actually save to where you pointed it)

and a normal uninstall didnt fix it, reappeared with the reinstall
had to scrub the registry after the 2nd uninstall for it to disappear
