Topic pretty much says it all. I was taken by someone in the f/s forums, and am wondering what I can do to get my $$$ back... I would greatly any responce either here, or please email me --> nshank(AT)quorumsystems.yi.org

I ALWAYS pay for anything I purchase here on the forum with a credit card through Paypal whenever possible. You can always dispute the charges that way. Email him and tell him that you'll be contacting his local police department if he doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction within a week.
 
I dont know if it is possible but try contacting the police dept. near to the person and see if you can file charges. Just use the online yellow pages or whites pages and put in his address, get a map of is area with nearest police depts. Hell if your sure he trolled you post his address to see if other hard dudes are near him can probaly help you out.

the least you can do in the situation, if your clear that you have been trolled is to name him so others would not be taken in by him.
There is an announcement about the online authorities to contact. Contacting his local pd might help, if they get enough cases, the county/state might prosecute him.
 
After looking at mostly positive heatware, I'm a bit confused. I've tried, in my oppinion, to give him every opertunity, and now am not getting anything. His heatware is softgod. And it looks like I'm out $400. Thats 2 payments on my student loans... Sux to be me, I guess...

I just got off the phone w/ them, actually. I was told to contact the local police and report. I don't know what the TPD is gona do, but whatever...

Woah!! I know this guy. Chris. I've actually met him and his wife and I was offered to stay the night there (attended a lan there).

But things started to become confused here with me too... he told me that he would ship my two switches that I left there after the lan, I still haven't heard a word from him and he just ignores me too. So I'm out of two BayNetworks 350F's. I do know his movements and his future movements and where he will be, contact me if you need to know.

He also just recently moved (in the last month) and works at a computer warehouse selling used computer equipment. I'll try and find that companies name.
 
SupaFly, All I ordered was a Netfinity 4000R. I don't care wether I get my $$$ back, or the server. It doesn't bother me either way. I just wish to complete this transaction...

I know Chris and haven't seen him online for quite some time. I will give him a call tonight and see if I get an answer.
 
I just got taken by this puke, too (on 2cpu.com). $53 for a rackmount case. Not as bad as some of the guys above me here, but nonetheless, ticks me off. Got the runaround - wife forgot to send it, just got back from a trip, I'll check it in the morning, etc. Should have done some more searching. Anyone want to make a trip to Indianapolis?
 
both of you guys...and everyone on these forums need to watch out for this guy...i knew this guy personally...and as i ratted him out on indygamers, i was banned because he didnt wanna be brought out...this guy is a scam and a very bad person to deal with, if anyone wants to take him to court, im right there beside you and wil be glad to make an apperance...ive heard his hard drive stealing secrets and such, and i know 2 others atleasat that were screwed over by him, a third being myself with 2 bad monitors.

Once again, i live near indy and if anyone wants to press charges or sue him, ask for help if you need it.

Damn that sucks, I have to pay for my college tuition too and I understand. But it doesn't seem like you care much, I would definitely try my best to do something about it. Can't let these bastards keep on doing this to innocent people.

Well, after applying the right type of pressure, I received a DHL tracking number today. So far it hasn't shown up on their website, but I'll give it a day.

Regardless, the hoops I've had to jump through just to get something I paid for shipped to me have been ridiculous.

I have more drama to post on this story, but I'm going to wait and see what type of response I receive from my latest action before doing so.

It IS against the rules, and you might want to clarify that the reason you were banned from our forums had nothing to do w/ Softgod. In fact, it was because you and a buddy who created the username "KKKmaster" were posting racial epithets and pro-nazi hate garbage on our forums. This lead to the entire subdomain of a local high-school getting added into the ban list.

Might want to let people in on that, just maybe.

You may also want clarify why he still has your spool of cat5, that being you posted for all to see that you were going to come pick it up, and then changed your mind. I can't comment on any of Chris's other dealings, but you need to tell the full story Sam.

OHHH trust me Gallow glass....this had nothing to do with cat5...this had to do with my monitors and me seeing his dealings....you and most of iG has no clue about that guy....Me and rasputin had a converstation about him, and for the moment he wasnt to worried about him.

ALSO, you have no clue on why i was banned, i had a chat log saved from me and softgod...he saw a chance to get me banned and did so cause i was about to bring him out.

Also...dont tell me to tell the full story when im not the one scamming people and doing dirty work, the cat5 has nothing to do with my feelings towards him, and the reasons i got banned had no influence on what i said. He knew he was playing with fire when i started to get a little pissed off at him. Hes not the guru you guys wanna belive he is, hes trouble...plain and simple

RyanL: Not worth it, i already talked to most of the admins there about him...and a few of them feel the same way about him, most of them dont care tho.

OH, btw, talk to the admins there at iG, stupid ass....i was the one that found the kid for you guys while being banned and got him to stop. Sorry, not a friend, a person at my school who got the link from the saved history on the computers...so get your facts straight. Go talk to codezero...and figure it out for yourself.

oh...let me also add that triikan and his parents almost took softgod to court and sued him...he got fucked over. Softgod was gonna build him a computer and buy the parts offline...well this indeed wasnt what happened, and i could of told him that. Softgod took the money and bought used parts, the motherboard happened to not work and softgod said he would RMA it...he didnt see or hear about his parts for two months...might still be an ongoing problem, ill try and bring him in here.

You need to open your eyes and just look at this guy for a little bit...all his bullshit on problems on computers and what he has...open your eyes, buy from him, get fucked...thats all it takes.


Also...hes trying to cover it up or something, cause as soon as i saw him come online to the iG forums it dissapeared...pretty weird ...well not really...if i was guilty of the same id delete it

I see no reason to dredge up an old thread about a bad trader we have dealt with who is no longer welcome here. If anyone sees "softgod" put in another appearance here, please let me know.

As for trades or other issues at 2cpu or indygamers, please let the admins there address them on their own forums.
