Worse performance out of aiw9800pro than 9600pro or gf4ti4600

How could this be? My fps drops down to 30s with aiw9800 pro. WTF this is with everything turned off and running in 16bit

not even the gf4ti dropped below 99
 
Have no idea why. The AIW 9800 pro far exceeds the performance of my ti 4600 and Hercules Prophet 9700 Pro. Games run faster at high performance settings. Could see significant improvement from the 9700 pro to the 9800 PRO????
 
i found that on ati's site but i have the 4.3 installed and i didn't have this issue on 9600 pro with 4.2

I tried both d3d and opengl and both of them are dropping frame rates like crazy.

XP2500+ (Barton)

First, make sure that the ati console commands are set to 0. Go to console and type ati, two commands should show and set them to 0.

I have a weaker system and I never go below 70 fps even with a full server on aztec.

Just listen to the man, those commands are there just to piss off all ati owners. First thing i do when i reinstall cs is turn those options off.
