I've got to fit over 100 terms on a page for someone (like a glossery), and they want it all on one single page without scrolling... any ideas? I'm really new to html and would like some advice...

Slap them in the face with a trout. Either that or use 7 point fonts... even then, you'll be lucky to fit the, in.

What kind of magic do they expect you to use to fit 100 words and definitions on a single screen?

Yeah, its crazy... and its going to have to be like 3pt font because they are all legal terms... ugh, oh well... think i'm going to tell them its not going to be possible..

Alright, I have an easy question i hope related to this... How would i put a link on a page from when you click on it opens a small browser window? So i can just have a term, then it opens to a smaller new window with the meaning?

You already found what you were looking for, but just in case... a useful little tag that you may or may not know about is the acronym tag. Anyway, this is just in case you didn't know about the tag, and just in case it helps. The text inside it can be customized any way you want with CSS.
