how can one do this?
what tools r needed? (i live in a farm :)) there r no normal computer shops nearby (and i dont have a credit card to order online :((( ), so if u can point to something more accesible itl be great)

The type of paint used to fix the rear window defogger system on cars - it comes in little kits and you should be able to pick some up. It is used to reconnect the traces on the window. This may or may not work for the Duron.
 
i tried this mod on a duron i picked up. (Didn't work)

Didn't do anything, and even made sure that the contact area was exposed before reconnection.

Maybe it was just bad luck for me.. hehe.. was worth a shot, with it's cache trimmed off it's dog slow and getting the boot for a new 2400+ mobile.

just remember, the unlock will not work on post 0339 chips. there are some 0345's, i believe, that have not been superlocked but those are few and far between...good luck...
