Can you gimme some more details on this display?

Being a Noritake, I assume it be a VFD?
 
Yip! It's a graphic display unit 128x64 pixels or dots.
It works with Liquid Mp3 and a lot of other software!

It's basicly the same display as the 800.

Can you post a link to the software used for other things besides MP3's?

System stats (temps, volts, rpm's), system IP address, etc...

Also, how many 2X20 displays will it take to trade with you? I can put some $$$ towards it, but would really like to trade some of these brand new nice and shiny 2X20 displays.
 
The program you'll find most useful is "LCDstudio".
The site lcdstudio.com seems to be down at the moment.
This program has support for MB5 info, winamp etc.


You can try http://www.prokopski.org/vfd/ for CPU usage and I think network usage.
 
Well there's two types of wiring schemes.
One is for a specific winamp plugin and the other is
for Liquid MP3 and the other programs that supports this display.

I have a cable for the latter wiring scheme.

Do you have any refs? I see you only have 6 posts, most of which are just in this one thread. Would you be willing to ship first? I have lots of refs (available upon request), all positive.

$60 shipped? I am in PA at 16055.
 
Yip, I've never bought anything on this forum before.
Only posted one to search for a Nortiake 128x64 800.
Then I got two on another forum. So now I want to sell one.

About shipping first, I'm sorry I can't do that. To risky!

The unit is in fine condition. The fuse on it was blown once. I bought it like this. But it works 100%! :)

The price is $60 plus shipping.

With the cable shipped, I'll have to use a bigger box.
So I guess shipping will be more expensive. I'll include the datasheet of the display so that you can make sure to connect the power supply correct. I can also include both wiring diagrams, if you would like to make your own cable or if you'd like to change wiring schemes.

I am very interested in the display, but I won't pay first unless you have lots of exceptional refs.

I'm gonna pass on this.

Nothing personal, but I got (almost) screwed out of $1400 on eBay once. Luckily I paid with a credit card, and they reimbursed me.

This is only $60, but the display is for our LAN group, not me. If I screwed them all out of $60, they'd ban me.

If you can ship first, I'll do it. I'll give you my address, phone number, and whatever else you want as proof that I'll pay.
 
No problem! I can understand your concern, but I had to trust a lot of people in the past by paying first when I purchased from eBAY. This time round, I want to get paid and then ship.

Hope you understand my situation as well!
