I went nuts at newegg!

I'd go with a Pioneer 16x drive instead of the the Lite-on. The Lite-on DVD drives are noisy and it's only about 6-8 dollars more.

Yeah, forget shipping those monitors. Buy them at a local electronics store, get a nice warranty with the money you save on shipping.

i 2nd that, if you get a few dead pixels right off the bat you gotta pay to ship it back, but it local and just take it back if there are spots
