    Dolby Atmos for Home Theater

Most definitely when using the older Dolby Access app/drivers that I mentioned above and running a game that officially supports Atmos, you'll get discrete height sounds directly from the game engine. In this case, looking at the Input on the receiver I can see 7.1.4 channels coming in. I'm...

    Dolby Atmos for Home Theater

Just an FYI: If you have any issues with Games not outputting Atmos, you can download the Dolby Access 3.2.169 installer and try that. None of the newer versions work for me and my Denon. Once installed, just be sure not to let it update from the Windows Store.

I've got a 6.1.4 setup going right now and I feel no loss from dropping the center channel. Given that we're pretty much fixed in a center position when sitting at the computer, any decent L/R speakers can create the center image. I used to have taller speaker stands and tried an L/C/R setup...

Anyone Have Experience With Ergotron LX Wall Mount Monitor Arm? Concerned with it on one stud.

Single stud. It's probably at about half extension the majority of the time.

Anyone Have Experience With Ergotron LX Wall Mount Monitor Arm? Concerned with it on one stud.

I've got the HX wall mount holding up my much heavier 48" oled and haven't had any issues. I don't move the screen around often but I've probably done so 20 times since I hung it up there and I've never been worried.

That's hilariously silly. ...and I want it. :D I'd still run an ultrawide resolution and then it would be perfect.

Bummer. That's probably the reason why the one old download I was able to find didn't work. Thanks.

Anyone know where to download older firmwares? 3.21.09 is killing me...I've gotta unplug the power every time I wanna use my monitor. I think 3.11.25 was the one that was working perfectly for me.

I'm using a Starware DP to HDMI adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WD75HCD . No issues at all with audio anymore. I'm not happy that I overspent by so much on a 2.1 receiver but everything does sound amazing, now.

In case anyone was looking for a longer cable recommendation, I've been using this 15' cable for a few weeks now without issue: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZH6L4TM . ( SIKAI MOSHOU Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1)

Alexa works as a decent power on/off solution but I usually just hit the button under the screen.

I had an accepted offer through greentoe of $1450 in July. If I was going to buy another one, I'd try offering them $1400 and see if any retailer bites. I've put in offers on 3 different tvs in the last couple years and it's always been the same, reputable retailer that I've dealt with.

Thank you for stating that so plainly. I'm sure it was said more than once a few pages back but the recent comments had me slightly confused because I've had zero issues since I got my 3090. I'd say that the jump from the 2080ti to the 3090 has been just as big a jump as going from the 35" VA...

Not sure about the Windows setting but there is/was a bug where having Quick Start+ on would turn on Screen Shift even though Screen Shift would show as off. The next time you see blurry text, just turn Screen Shift on and then back off and see if your text clears up. If so, just turn off...

I've got the same issue....was using a B7 with a C9 and now a C9 with a CX in the same room. I switched to using Alexa to power on/off the "tv" and i just press the button on the bottom of the "monitor". You can set different IDs for the different remotes so that most functionality is...
