That's good to know. I got ram that is rated at 1066 so i should be able to up the FSB a decent amount. I'll start upping it by 5 and running memtest at nights and see how far i get :)
And the multi was actually at 7. CPUZ said it was at 6 and then when i unzipped something or taxed the cpu at...
I just got everything set up and my bios says my cpu is running at 200x7 for 1.4Ghz speed. In windows I get this
If i check the motherboards easy tuner I get this which makes NO sense
that doesn't even add up right. So if i move the FSB down and then back up it recalculates I guess ...
I finally decided to upgrade my computer after a year or so and i'm looking for a good RPG game to play on my new comp. I was looking at Neverwinter Nights 2. The game looked good when it came out but I never got around to playing it. I know fallout 3 is good but I want to go back a while to...
Ok I think the final build will be:
E5200
GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
SAPPHIRE HD4830 512MB
Here is my psu:
Only 500 watts but has good amp ratings on the 12v rail which is why I got it. You think this will be ok for this build?
I will have to disassemble some stuff to check on the PSU but I think it's 600w. Also, I probably won't OC right away so I don't need the heatsink yet. This brings me under 300 which is very doable :)
That's almost what I picked on my own so at least I havn't gotten too rusty at this :) Do you think i could get away with this GPU?

I'm looking to upgrade my desktop after a year or so of having stopped playing all together due to outdated specs. I currently have an athlon xp 3000+ with a 6800 vanilla and a gig of ram. It let me play games like tf2 at a decent rate but now it can't handle anything new and so it's been...
it's a great game. you do get a bigger bag and much better equiptment. the main thing that helps you is proper use of your skills. I havn't played in a while but I remember dual weilding with the proper swords was pretty devistating.
The strum bar on the new guitar barely clicks at all and the buttons are much more solid. The new guitar over all is very nice. The drums are more responsive then I expected having played the RB ones which missed quite often. I'm very happy with the quality of the equiptment for the price.
I'm going to have to give a vote to UT3 just for the sole reason that it was main complaint with the game and it was all I heard about on UT forums. If you want to see a horse beat to death just go back to when the game was released on any UT forum and watch the bitching. :(
I made a thread a while back on this topic. I chose LO and I am very happy with it. The story is a big part of the game, but it's a great story so far :)
