Inspiron 6000 :) Still doing a good job, now about 5 years old. Upgraded it a bit but there is only so far you can go. Runs win 7 pro no problems. Ideal for email/movies etc. States Centrino Pentium M 1.5ghz, 2GB DDR2 5300, 60GB+320GB HD, Radeon x300 64mb. 7pro. :D

I'm upgrading a machine today from a 5450 to a 6770. I have the latest patched drivers etc - can I just swap the cards or is it worth an uninstall and clean install as I change over? My process was going to be 1. Uninstall driver, shut down 2. Change card 3. Boot an install driver...
