Same to me at the beginning. I really tried to force image retention, but always failed. Then on the 4th day I forgot to turn off the monitor (while displaying this site: Blur Busters UFO Motion Tests) and when I returned after 6h there was severe image retention being visible (pixel orbiting...
Absolutely ok when Smartresponse is turned on (Mode: fast). I tried Elder Scrolls and Arma III. I even never noticed the famous dropping frame every 2-3 sec during gaming, but others may do.
The monitor starts to show image retention. Right now, it's not permanent, but it's a no-go.
Besides that the backlight uniformity is bad and/or the screen has a flickering issue. (the lines look weird in the PWM test: Blur Busters UFO Motion Tests)

That's the worst news possible. I can return the monitor within 2 weeks after delivery without any problems, but after 2 weeks Amzazon will only repair or send a new one.
So when there are no burn-ins at the beginning, but will develop after 2 weeks and this is a general issue with these...
Looks like that the panel has a big issue with burn in (for two owners a burn in happened only after 15 min, see link below the comments) . Another problem seems to be dark clouds on light background. I would recommend to check this. No panel for me if this is true.
Look at the comments (you...
