With how idiotically many countries and states were (and are) handling Covid, can you really fully blame them for just assuming things will stay the same? I'm not even sure if our daily cases have gone down, it's just the newer strains are less...

To me a power supply is... well... just a power supply. I thought there was some weird new hardwired regulation that wouldn't let you use it on GPUs, but if there are going to be adapters, and adapters are good enough, then that's fine. This...

Wait so are we saying these new power supplies won't be able to power new GPUs at all? Or will there be adapters made? I'm feeling a bit annoyed about my purchase now as I obviously was living in a cave with regards to this.

I'm not sure what price you're looking at these for, but I suggest checking this thread out: https://hardforum.com/threads/evga-supernova-16oow-p-199.2021102/ 1200W P2 can be had for 159.99 with free shipping, and 1000W models are even less, and...

I'm not talking about the GPUs only, though: their peripherals, shirts, PSUs, motherboards... basically everything is getting huge price slashes.

Is EVGA just liquidating everything? Their price cuts are just massive across the board and I'm a bit worried.

I ended up buying a 1200W P2, and then a keyboard and wireless mouse since they were heavily discounted as well. I'm a bit worried about the noise complaints on the P2, but hopefully it'll be fine.

This post at EVGA forums seems to outline at least some known OEM information/reviews on various EVGA units P2, T2, P3, G6, P6 seem like optimal choices Interesting this post mentions coil whine with the P+ Oh, just noticed the post is by...

I'm looking at their power supply page and very many of these units are on sale. I'm looking for a 1200 or higher unit, which one should I get? I see P3's, P2's, P+'s, etc...

What is the material for these? I only buy cotton and other natural materials, can't stand polyester.

I'm going to install mine today or tomorrow, but I'm more or less prepared to say that any differences I experience are likely going to be just due to the fact that I reinstalled Windows, not the SSD performance. But hey the benchmarks say it's...

Thanks for this, I decided to pick up the 2TB yesterday. I doubt I'll even see a practical difference vs my 970 EVO Plus but I'm going to try it on a whim anyway. I've been needing to reinstall Windows after doing this swap to my 5950x and I'm...

Wow, that's slightly lower than when I got mine a few months ago, open box from Microcenter, even. I suppose I should have just waited, but at least it's only a few dollars difference...

I just use rechargeable AAA batteries in those Duracell headlamp units. I guess in a way they're kind of tactical, since they're small enough to be handled portably, and you can wear them on your head. That means that if you get into a fight...

If we're going to talk about a flashlight that I think everyone on this forum should have... I highly suggest picking up one of these: https://www.costco.com/duracell-575-lumens-cob-headlamp-3-pack.product.100894411.html These headlamps are an...

So I think the amplifier on this is plenty capable. It drives my headphones with no issues. Sound is probably on the warm side, since, compared to my Mayfield O2 DAC/AMP there is much less sibilance. Mic slot worked with no issue. However I...

Yeah well that's kind of how I expected this topic to go. Oh well lol. Guess I'll just pick one of those options.

I have this standing desk, for using with my treadmill (~11-13 miles/day). I used to use a 50-55 inch TV. I had a lot of trouble seeing things (text) on it and realized I might as well use the elevated monitor area on this. At first I used an...

I have had an issue with ASUS boards for sure in the past, one of my first boards was ASUS actually, on an old i5 750 build. So many issues with that thing. Sure it was a low budget board, but I've used plenty of budget boards by other companies...

I don't understand the idea of just being loyal to a brand at all. You shouldn't ever be looking at the brand, but only each product (or service). I know to some extent the reputation of the brand factors into that decision, but if you've...
