The temp sensor on the K8N mobo seems to be dodgy as my cpu temp goes upto 67c load! This is about 20c higher than my K8T reported. Also I dont think prime would be stable for an hour @ 67C... CPU =A64 3400 @ 2420mhz 1.6v - 43 idle/61c load GFX = X800pro @ XT 585-575 1.55vgpu = 30 idle/53...

A few people have enabled the extra pipes but experienced severe artifacting and polygon errors so there are a few card with faulty pipes. If your X800 is freezing or vpu recover is messing up try disabling it? If that deosnt work your gpu may only have 1.31v compared to the 1.41v for the XT...

65C load is the same as the vga silencer temps I got. Prefer my vantec aeroflow though. 31c idle 53c load and thats @ 570/577 with 1.52v and 16 pipes. With 12 pipes it ran 4c cooler. Gonna be sticking a swiftech block on there soon and run 1.62v through it. Maybe hit 600 on the core? :)

Overdrive is useless. Max oc of 507mhz core. ATItool is loads better.

I would put a vga silencer on your card then there is no risk of it running too hot. Thats a very nice card you have there!

I just stuck a rev 3 on my X800pro modded to XT. 65C load now instead of 78C. :cool:

I along with a few others have done this. Its simple and you do NOT need to flash to XT. All I did was take the heatsink off, cover the other parts with maskin tape and put a blob of conductive paint over the area needed. Took the tape off and stuck the heatsink back on and ATI tool shows 16...

Its not my settings because its a fresh install latest mobo drivers etc and I'm scoring in scale to most other people. For example one guy on OcUK gets 13,600 @ 620/590 clocks or so with the 16 pipe mod. You are way over this with lower clocks and 12 pipes! You sure you didnt run in 800x600? lol

Well then wtf is going on. Im using the betas which gave me an extra 1,000 marks over the officials? My cpu is an atlhon 64 @ 2320mhz. X800pro was @ 570/580 and I got just under 12,000. With the official cats I got 10,700.
