I was excited when i read about the remasters, but i just checked the system requrements and seems like i wont playing it without a system upgrade :(

well, i returned the new monitor for the time being. Maybe i'm able to find a model that better suits my expectations regarding uniformity.

After using my Nec multisync EA231 for 12 years, i though it was time for a new screen. I though over the course of that many years brightness and colour homogeneity would have greatly improved. Well, was i wrong........ old: new: is this something i have to accept in a IPS panel ?

i was running the penultimate bios version, but just upgraded. I don't have high hopes though since no battery problem fix was mentioned in the text file.

Well, i celebrated to soon. The new battery did not fix the problem. Battery level dropped from 51% to 6% within 10 minutes today.

Found an older one by Fantec at work. Works fine with the asmedia chip so far.

running out of things to try i did a fresh install and it's working now as it should. second time in 12 month i had to format/reinstall due to Windows 10 shenanigans :(
