Thanks for the info guys. I just emailed [email protected] to request an update on my claim. I submitted my product numbers and invoices from Newegg and EVGA to them twice.
The Abit IC7-Max3 was what popped into my head when I read the headline. I sold mine in 2008, 4.5 years after it came out for 78% of what it launched for!
My x34 also arrived undamaged in a brown box version of the retail packaging. The plastic was still on the monitor and stand.
There's more BLB near the top left corner than I'd like but I can live with it. 100hz has worked in the couple hours I've used it.
It feels great to use it after my...
The price difference along with none being for sale in the prior two weeks rattled me into buying one now too. I was trying to wait until it lined up with a 8/10% ebay bucks day again.
Speaking for myself, the ergonomics of anything taller than 32" 16:9 or 30" 16:10 really doesn't comfortably suite my eye level.
The all purpose monitor I'd like to see is a 32" 5k. Comfortable, sharp text for me at 200% scaling and a nice 1440p quarter resolution to fall back onto for...
I got my Dell U3415W yesterday and 2560x1440 showed up with 1:1 pixel mapping in both Windows 7 and 10.
I also played some of the new Tales from the Borderlands episode at 1440p without issue. It only supports 16:9 so playing at the desktop resolution would mar my screenshots with the black...
I bought one from Newegg last week and they shipped it loose in a small box with one air pillow for protection. The air pillow unsurprisingly was popped and the drive DOA. What a waste.
That really soured me on Newegg so I won't be renewing premier.
Newegg gave me the same offer for both of my cards today and I'm taking them up on it. I'm more upset about DSR still not working with SLI and G-Sync and the lack of MFAA with SLI.
I'm getting closer to finishing my HT room and about to import a 4k projector. I don't ever want to worry about...
Yup. I've been on a huge "next-gen" game binge since putting together my X99 970 SLI system. Only one of those six games I've played was able to hold 120 fps @ 1440p (Alien Isolation). But it benefited from g-sync after being down-scaled from 4k to eliminate its extreme aliasing.
The last two I've had have this little dark "smudge". Don't recall on the first three. It doesn't bother me because it only becomes noticeable on a bright cutscene or loading screen.
I got my Tuesday Newegg order yesterday and its good so far. The newgg inventory sticker on the box said it was from a batch of 50.
Ten weeks and four swifts later I seem to have one without hardware issues. Just in time for DA:I too.
The GT @ 600 RPM is keeping the top cards VRM in the 90s like the stock cooler was during an overclocked load. (Also, yeah, yeah the unsleeved cable looks awful but the case window goes against the side of my desk. I'll fix it next tear-down.)
Crysis 3 crashed at 1550/8000 at the stock...
I had 1600 and 1550 on these two with the stock coolers and stock volts. A voltage bump and MCW82 blocks is giving me the extra 50mhz on the second card. I bought three cards to keep the best two and it turned out the 3rd was the worst, oh well.
