The phosphors degrades over time hence life is measured in hours
To find one operating at peak performance with no degradation is tough
They stopped making them around 10 years ago, mines a 2001 with low hours

Subzero and volts equals good benching
Bench for a day , a month, a year
Now flip the switch from LN to O/C mode for every day use
People are not seeing the performance they thought they should have at that premium price
The link you posted goes a card maker thread who sells higher binned chips(ASIC) for more money.
Kind of self defeating if there's no real performance value to be had unless you use voltage and LN2 for cooling.
I have an asic value of 84.6 and no coil whine on my 980Ti for $699.00

The general stable warm-up time is around an hour for a total shakeout
Mine is always a little soft on focus and gets sharper during the warm up period
5 minutes is not long enough
If it continues to get better and then jumps to a less focused picture something is failing during the warm up...
If focus is a problem there are focus pods which can be adjusted
There located right below the holes I made for better access
Use a flashlight and a long shafted plastic screwdriver and adjust
Look at the link in 1st post, this is just my way to gain easy access to the pods instead removing...
