Update: I installed XP PRO and things are so much better. The notebook runs super fast now, no lag or anything. My internet browser's text & pictures are now crisp and clear. The heat still bothers me. According to a few Dell notebook owners, this kind of heat is normal. Crazy.

I completely understand. But that 25% coupon was only valid for 3 hours AFTER I got my hands on it. So it was a rushed decision. And in the past, I've been known to return orders back to Dell if I'm not happy with what I ordered with zero hassles. So... now the ground work has been laid. :)
