He is referring to the heatsink itself being longer, which it is. The HS on the non-ACS3 does not run the full length of the card, whereas the ACS3 does. The ACS3 version would not fit in my case as the regular version overhangs my harddrive cage for about half an inch at a distance of about 3-4mm
I just went from a AXP 2500+ to a C2D E6600 and the difference is just hilarious.
I also went from a Radeon 9800 AIW to a 7600GS(to replace my RMA'd GX2) and the the GS is around 30% faster than the 9800P, so the 7900GS would be quite a bit faster.
Well, I have decided it was the memory. Dropped one stick of the board and Windows went straight through the install. I decided to ditch the RAID, I am fine with a pair of drives anyways. Once windows come up I will start checking it out to see if it is a bad memory module or a bad memory slot...
