Crysis is still ... a disappoint for me. A various points in the game, the cards goes back and forth between the 2d/3d mode. At steady 3d speeds, 2x aa @ 1920x1080 around 25 fps. At 2d speeds, or when the clocks are "toggling" between 2 and 3d speeds, unplayable.
Running 2x3870s in crossfire - d975xbx - vista x64 - cat 8.2 -- Works great. Playing mostly CoD4 MP - 1920x1080 - graphics options maxed - 4/16 aa/af -- fps pretty much constant 60 fps (lcd refresh). Have tested/played with Bioshock. Witcher, fear pm, lost planet, call of juarez, time shift...
Aye on that combo. Running mine at 3.33 GHz now -- stable, rock solid -- idle temp 34 C -- load 45 C. Still have plenty of OC room to go -- but I am happy with with the performance as it is now.

For Oblivion, if you have enabled HDR, AA will not work unless you download the "Chuck" drivers for cat 6.5. With the ATi beta chuck drivers, select HDR in the application and set AA in CCC ... it looks very nice and the performance impact is small (at least for me).
I replaced my x1800 xt with a x1900 xtx -- same resolution (1680x1050) -- For me, I have experienced a noticeable improvement in game play -- not just in fps but in overall smoothness in all scenes and game play (Oblivion, GRAW, Sin, CoD2).
400 is correct --- ddr2 means the memory is running at 2x400 = 800. The result is a 1:1 fsb:memory ratio. For overclocking, if you don't have experience, I highly recommend the intel desktop control center: http://developer.intel.com/design/motherbd/software/dcc/download.htm

I have a very similiar setup. What power supply do you have and what is the 12v rail rating? The 1900 draws a lot of juice. What are you cpu/system/gpu temps?
The D975xbx requires three motherboard power connections -- the standard atx, a 2x6 (if you are overclocking, do no use the 2x4 to...
Upgraded to ws monitor myself last week. No problems getting the rez set to the native resolution --- enjoy your widescreen computing experience -- ws gaming is an incredible gaming visual experience. Full screen gaming resolutions require a lot of gpu power -- hence the note on performance...
