    Microsoft Introduces Surface Pro 3

I bought a SPro 1 on the general hope that I could just walk out of the office with a single device in my bag that would replace my laptop/tablet/paper notebook. While it wasn't perfect, it was (is) extremely impressive for what it's worth. Outside of the battery life on the SPro 1 and the other...

new iPhone, Android device, or Lumia 1020?

Hello everyone, Thanks for taking the time to weigh in and provide any opinions and/or recommendations. My iPhone 4 is pretty banged up, pretty much ready to move on here to something new. I previously had the iPhone 3 before the 4. While I haven't done any insane amounts of research, I'm...

NVIDIA CEO: We're Working Hard On Surface 2

Again, I've got a bias of my own, but my Surface Pro has been a joy to use... replaced my laptop + iPad travel combination with something lighter, and does the jobs of both just as well, and even has a Wacom digitizer for Photoshop work if I really need it on the road, and that's something I...

Video Card on the way out..?

Looks like the problem is the graphics card... this guy has the exact same problems. Pretty annoying considering the card isn't that old... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2-lrHv2juY

Video Card on the way out..?

Well what's interesting is that if I run SWTOR in its lowest settings, the issue doesn't arise - the card never gets too hot. I unfortunately don't have access to a multi-meter... I guess I'm just trying to deduce the source of the problem so that I can replace the faulty part... I'm leaning...

Video Card on the way out..?

hahah for sure eh? I suppose it is one of the oldest components in my system. Is there any kind of test I could do to make sure?

Video Card on the way out..?

So the problem started up again and I opened up the case while running and it appears my video card fan is turning off and on... Could this be related to the PSU? What could I test around w/ to find out what seems to be the problem?

    Annoying video ads..!

Thanks, I appreciate the help/feedback. I've got the click-for-flash working and that seems to have removed most of the annoying autoplay ads!

    Annoying video ads..!

Hi guys! I've been increasingly bombarded by extremely irritating video ads on normal websites. Typically I'll be reading the beginnings of an article only to suddenly be bombarded by some loud and obnoxious advertisement video. This is followed by scrambling up and down the page to find the...

Video Card on the way out..?

It sits closer to 73* consistently it seems... As far the games, I'm mostly playing Planetside 2 and SWTOR on it right now. I actually reseated the graphics card and have yet to have replicated the problem... the strange thing about it is that, as I stated earlier, I had made 0 changes to...

Video Card on the way out..?

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. My processor (i7 920 @ stock clocks/cooling) runs around 60 to 65 when under full load gaming. The video card I'll have to monitor after a good session... just running the game for about 15 minutes (and the problem didn't develop in that session) the...

Video Card on the way out..?

Actually, I just noticed again that if I'm looking at a "busier" area, things start to slow down as described... I go from 60fps to hardly any and back up to 60fps... almost rythmically... And then if I look at a very bland/normal area with hardly any geometry or details, things are buttery smooth.

Video Card on the way out..?

It's almost as though the computer is "catching up" and thats where the hitching is coming from. Could this be the HDD? If so... I just got this disk 6 months ago.,!

Video Card on the way out..?

My drivers were updated a week ago or so. I had no problems running anything during that week. I uninstalled and re installed my drivers today to see if that would help at all. I'm running at my native resolution of 1920x1080 I'm running the full graphics settings but I had no problem...
