4K HRR Monitor With 60W Power Delivery Over USB C?

Yep, Acer XV322QK: https://store.acer.com/en-us/nitro-xv2-gaming-monitor-xv322qk-kvbmiiphuzx Confirmed that it does 4k/144hz and charges my Macbook M1 Pro with a Thunderbolt cable

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

So even with the uniformity issues you prefer the FI32U? Or are you still on the hunt for something else. It's a really a shame that the Acer build quality and KVM function sucks so much, because it's otherwise so close. Good panel and uniformity, 65w charging, 4K/144hz over USBC...

    Aorus FI32U - @ $950(USD} -- For Sale Now

Thanks for confirming! I was hopeful since the FV43U has undocumented optical output.

Does anyone know if the line out on the FI32U supports optical / toslink?

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I have the same monitor, considering returning it for the FI32U. FYI, I am able to get 4K/144hz on the XV322QK on my M1 Macbook with a rated Thunderbolt 40gbps USB C cable. My biggest WTF with the XV322QK is the stupid “KVM” feature. It has downstream USB C and USB B, but you can’t pair them...

    Aorus FI32U - @ $950(USD} -- For Sale Now

Just hooked up my XV322QK, it does have a toggle called "Visual Response Boost" which appears to be Acer's name for BFI.

    Aorus FI32U - @ $950(USD} -- For Sale Now

I bought the Acer XV322QK from Best Buy to get a better return policy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-nitro-xv322qk-kvbmiiphuzx-31-5-uhd-monitor-hdmi/6473374.p?skuId=6473374 It's effectively the same monitor as the XB3 but $100 cheaper, simpler stand and no RGB lighting. The XB323QK (your...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

I recently returned a FV43U. It was a great display in a lot of ways, but I need better text rendering for my coding job and 43" was just too big for my room. Thinking of picking up the FI32U, but is it worth waiting for the PG32UQ? Is that supposed to be a big improvement even though it's the...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I found a really helpful thread for Eve Spectrum customers trying to get 4k/144hz over USB-C on MacOS: https://eve.community/t/4k-144hz-over-usb-c-from-macbook-pro/29500/50 tl;dr it might work with a Thunderbolt3/USB4 cable rated for 40Gbps. Ordering one now to try with the FV43U

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

What setting are you seeing? On firmware F04 I see one under System called "Type-C Capability" but it just says On/Off and has no effect on what resolutions/refresh rates are available.

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Followup question to this. My Macbook is limited to 4K 60hz when connecting via USB-C. I know it can do 4K/120hz if I used a USB-C -> DisplayPort adapter, but my PC is already using the DisplayPort. I figure my current limitation may be because my USB-C cable is only good for USB 3.1. Is it...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

A couple questions about USB-C on this monitor: 1. My 2018 Macbook Pro can do 3840x2160 60hz over USB-C, but when I try to do 120hz the image gets distorted with green artifacts everywhere. Is this a limitation of the cable, my MBP (which has a discrete Radeon 555X GPU and theoretically...
