    Did you try applying the AS5 using the directions? You do not want a thin layer over the IHS but instead a thin line down the middle of the IHS.

    The 680i or get an Asus P5B Deluxe. Depending on memory it can do 500mhz+. On a side note if I were you I would consider the E6400. You get a higher multi on basically the same chip.
