Hey all. I need to upgrade our current AP which is a Linksys WRT54GX. It's woefully inadequate at delivering a consistent signal through our building. I suspect that the construction of the facility has something to do with it, but besides that, the WRT is constantly timing out and dropping...

You won't see much of advantage with 2 drives in RAID 0. 4+ drives with a good controller with a lot of cache, however, is a different story.

Just be careful, though, because if you do decide to opt for higher RPMs then make sure not to grab SCSI stuff just because it is 10k or 15k. Many of the older ones will be far slower than modern SATA drives, regardless of the spindle speed.

Quite a few from what I've read. Sandisk, SuperTalent, and Samsung immediately come to mind but I'm sure there are more. I will look up that specific one you mentioned, though. Perhaps it is the one I'm looking for.
