I'm looking for a Northwood 3.2EE or 3.4EE for my S478 system. This is going to be my one last major upgrade for this system before the major overhaul sometime in 2007. I'm looking to spend around $200-300.
The hype comes from people who actually OWN the hardware. You know it is available for purchase right at this very moment -- we would have known LONG ago if PSP didn't live up to the hype.

You will regret your decision within a week. That's about how long it took me to actually FORGET that I owned it! The game lineup is pretty bad at the moment (and I imported Wario -- I can't imagine how any US-only DS owner could be happy with their purchase).
I've had both. I sold the DS already; the games are pretty pathetic at this point. Every PSP game that I've played has turned out to be good/great. I have five:
