sounds as if the monitors' color temperatures have been set differently. blueish hues are the "cool" temperature settings on monitors, while redish hues are the "warm" setting. Try looking for something like that on the monitor's controls

yeah, a usb capable kvm replicates the usb devices for both systems but you would want a quality one if you need usb as some of the more inexpensive usb kvms have issues replicating the devices
