I use one of these on my test bench now, highly recommended. No paste, no waste, slightly higher temps.

Buy the bigger 40x40 pad, beware these are very electrically conductive, if AM4 they will fit about perfect with a little overhang but should not pose a problem. IMPORTANT: Best if you lay the motherboard/case so the CPU is flat or horizontal -...

Typical antifreeze has half the heat capacity of water. Meaning 1 lbm of water changes 1F is equal to 1 BTU of energy. With 100% antifreeze 1 lbm of solution with 1F change in temperature would only remove .5BTU or half the heat removing...

No twisting involved, no cleanup, reusable, no air bubbles: [ATTACH] Get the bigger size like this for Ryzen AM4, as you can see it covers the whole socket. The smaller version works great for Intel 1151 pin sockets. You may loose 1c but then...

There’s only one 2070 super that’s 500. Most are 550 and up. The 5700 XX is 100 cheaper.

I don't beleive it, hence I'm not the one upset ;). I bought my fury tri-x for $200... It's still as fast as an rx580 or 1060... Which are selling for as much as I paid years ago. I'm not upset one bit about it, and the fury nano in my itx case...

  14. noko replied to the thread Any updates for hdmi 2.1 support?.

Frankly I would hate that monitor except for some games then it would be rather awesome with. $5000 is somewhat laughable, hopefully some 5K Ultra Wide monitors around the 34"-38" with 120hz HDR etc. come out late next year or beyond. Will need...

Sheesh...Once all these patches and fixes that degrade performance are implemented, my 3770K is going to be so bogged down that I'll probably miss my dual P-III 1000 system. This probably just sealed the deal for going with a Ryzen next spring...
