I've been waiting since the 29th for my order, 2 more days to go. Stupid Jewish holiday. My laptop is coming back in 2 days as well. hehe. $3,400 worth of equipment in one day. I will be a happy camper.
Will someone think of the equipment? :( In all my reading, contemplating, browsing. I think knowing how I shoot that something like the 28-70 you have would probably be next on my purchase list. But I will see what the numbers tell me first, then put some more money down for glass.
A lot of candid people, it's what I've done most of so far. But The equipment at hand has been limited so far, this will open a lot off oportunity up. Particularly with 18-55 and 55-200mm lenses. So there is a lot that will be opened up to me. This was less of a query as to what I should get...
Bingo, exactly. Like any one I plan to have these lenses for there life, forbaring any major urge to part with one, be it to finance it's replacement. So for my initial purchase I am very pleased with what I have. I've been shooting point and shoot 35mm, and mid-to-high range digital for years...
I'm right there with you. Digital zoom is NOT a feature, no matter what size of font they use. If you want zoom beyond "3x" (or what every they're giving you) it's time to go up a notch.
I say this as I anxiously await my new Digital Rebel with 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses..
I picked up a monopod actually, At this point I see my self utilizing it more then a tripod. :)
I've dabbled in several other little hobbies...but with the ammount of funds in computers and now camera's, these are deffinitely declared hobbies. heh. :-\
I also picked up a 58mm UV Filter and...
So, I just invested into my second major hobby. Camera's. First computers, Now Camera's. I figure in a few years when I've recovered finacially I'll find another expensive hobby to add to keep me poor, but well stocked with gadgets.
Just recently I purchased a DR, the kit version with...
I think the folding and other DC projects suggestions are kind of misguided. You would gain nothing from using a cluster for those projects. You might as well skip any sort of clustering OS and major network backbone, and toss them on a hub.
A single unified cluster, Not a cluster of...
This isn't a call for information. It's an installers version of a work log. :) This will be fairly brief as a lot of these details will be semi-useless for many of you, I'm going to keep track more so on the details specific to the 64bit realm. Though I will mark my progression on a rhudementry...
I want one of these as well, unfortunetly though my inquiery into this particular system is for a client of mine. Who's decided on SFF, and since I mentioned it he's waiting somewhat patiently for it as well.
They only go to 80.. hehe
Yeah, 60's loud, 65 is louder, 70-75 Make your cranium bleed internally. But it's all good. I've yet to go to 80 with audio though. :-\
