I just picked up a classic macbook pro 13" (my first apple product). I have an iphone and ipad, but my main rig has always been a windows box that I've built, so I am unfamiliar with software for use on the macbook. What are some must have apps? Is there anything to use for monitoring temps...
I recently upgraded to a 2560x1440 monitor and I think my 560ti might be struggling a bit in diablo 3 because of it. (I also run a second monitor at 1920x1200) I was thinking about upgrading to the 7870 which seems like it's at a decent price:performance point. Worth the upgrade and would a...
I haven't been able to find too much about this monitor, but from what I could find it appears to be the same panels used in the monitors that everyone is buying on ebay (Please correct me if I'm wrong). I picked one up this morning and it is gorgeous. It does native 2560x1440 resolution out...
I'll be getting my New iPad tomorrow and am wondering if I should buy a screen protector like I did for my original iPad and droid tablet. How much will it reduce the image quality of the new retina display?
I think that I'd prefer the larger screen as well, which is why I'm leaning towards the X. I'm just worried that I'll hate the physical buttons and that it may have much worse battery life due to the larger screen.
Also, since the X has the same resolution as the d2 but a larger screen, how...
I am switching to verizon because my current service stinks. Anyone know what the battery life is like on these phones. Im also trying to weigh the physical buttons on the x vs the capacitive buttons on the d2. Anyone used one or both of these that feel like sharing their experience?
Thank you for the advice. Anyone have any feedback on arch linux? I've read that it has to be built from the ground up, but assuming the documentation is good enough, I think that would be the best way to learn linux.
After much debate, I ended up getting myself a NC10 and am extremely happy with the purchase. I'd like to dual boot linux on this machine and am wondering which distros people here have found to work well out of the box as I am a linux novice. Any suggestions?
Is it loud enough to be bothersome while in a quiet room? I'm also about to start back to school for my masters degree, so I'm trying to make sure I grab a netbook that won't bother fellow students.
I was almost ready to buy an AAO until I read that they are rather noisy machines due to the fan being loud. Can anyone confirm this? I'm looking at getting the 1GB ram, 160GB HD, 6 cell version for 400.
I'm using the hdmi to dvi cable that came with the monitor. And I've gone through every possible menu item on the monitor...you canNOT move the screen around via the menu.
No, there is no software to adjust it. I think part of the problem is that after installing the drivers vista considers my monitor a plug n play hdtv, which it isn't.
