Or just use a desolder pump or braid as was already suggested. That's what it's for, no "tapping" required. Tapping would seem not only dangerous but comically awkward, because unless you have a very hot iron, solder won't won't get hot enough to stay melted more than a second or two.
And I...
I put about 260 hours into it myself, with only 1 character to level 55. I did the vast majority of the side quests and finished the main quest line. You can probably discount 20+ hours of that due to me pausing the game and going out to dinner and stuff and leaving it idle for hours.

Funny, I noticed that on my board too, yet the manual says the default position is A. I flipped it back to A before I installed and updated the BIOS, but since they're supposed to be mirror copies I suppose it shouldn't matter.
Finished the build this weekend, and other than the usual PITA of reinstalling Windows and all of my apps (and the usual forgetting to deactivate certain software that I now have to go back to the vendor to request new keys for), it was pretty painless. I'm digging the UEFI BIOS and don't see...
A longtime fan of both, but as a Prime member I find myself using Amazon more and more for computer parts purchases (and pretty much everything else). I've spent tens of thousands with Newegg over more than a decade, but unfortunately as often happens with companies as they get successful and...
Lots of new products have taped over bags, that's not a sign of a refurb or return. In fact other than HDD's I don't know of many components that ship in a sealed bag.
In the US, federal trade regulations (and most state laws) prohibit vendors from misrepresenting and selling refurbed items as...
From all of the above I'm beginning to expect this was a pricing mistake but they went ahead and honored it at 1 per person. Kudos to MC if so. And lucky me for not missing a deal for a change.
I'm solidly in the "Seagate is crap" camp. FWIW I don't claim any statistics but my own. I've been working with HDDs since the old Winchester MFM/RLL days of 10MB drives in the early 80's. I've bought/used/installed hundreds of HDDs in my life. And I've never had another brand with as many...
Yeah I just went back to try and add a second one to see what all the fuss is about, and I get the error about "Removed items that are inactive or no longer valid." Sounds like they ran out of stock then. But it worked first time when I saw this post and tried it, and my order has been confirmed.
For the record I had no problems with stickers either. Assembled with CPU+HSF+RAM last night but that's as far as I got -- will get it in the case tonight hopefully.
No trouble adding to my cart. I'm just sitting at the CC entry page trying to decide if I want to spend $18 out of pocket for a spare cooler...
EDIT: Ordered. No problemo.
