Not sure if I missed discussion of the cards, but I don't understand them and the Steam page that tries to explain them is complete crap. I play games, I don't play Steam. I am avoiding them.

They also has the option of them sending a 1tb drive to you to seed your backup, $125.
There's an automated fix from Microsoft as well, does the same thing.

Then enable AHCI in the BIOS. Some older mobo's don't have AHCI listed, then use the RAID setting even if you have no RAID set up.
