You can just up the text and scaling factor in windows to medium on 1440p and it's much more readable on a 27" ( I do this) Gaming seems fine. More detail etc. just make sure your gpu is capable of driving the res.

Had bad UI lock ups in COD AW plus game crashes and then had a BF4 crash too which was rare for me. Have now gone back to 14.11.2 beta (Nov 13th driver release I think they are) and the problems have gone away. Not impressed.
