So I have an idea for this case. What if you made a 30mm expansion or larger that would allow you to use larger CPU coolers like the Be Quiet Shadow Rock LP, Thermalright AXP-200 and 100, Noctua L9x65 and NH-L12, etc?
I think you could design something that would attach to the existing...
As mentioned, overclocking looks pretty pointless for gaming from the testing I've seen.
Same FPS even with a Titan X:

Same FPS even underclocked to 3.0ghz with a 980...
Haha. Thank you! I'm definitely going to try this - not a fan of sleeving, myself.
I did find this guide on makezine you may be interested in. They use pvc cleaner or methyl ethyl ketone and mix a dye in it.
Very cool case and thread. It's especially interesting to see what you guys are doing with dc-dc power supplies.
A side thought on this - I'd like a case that's a hybrid of the Dan A4 and this - with the mobo and gpu sandwiched but designed for dc-dc PSUs and compact GPUs. I think a case...
Okay - thank you very much for your help.
I'm actually glad to hear that though as I've never had interference problems with the asrock z97e-itx in the few different cases I've had. Even with my IEMs at 100% I can't hear any noise or interference so maybe it won't be an issue.
Interesting! Thanks!
So are most HD audio panels that are included in cases or the Silverstone panel I posted built to that specification? If so, that Silverstone panel would probably be the best option for me as that seems a bit out my capability.
I'll do some more searching around for...
Oh, nice! This is what I was thinking:

It would be a bit trickier to mount - probably would have to use an adhesive but looks a lot better than the ones with the nut and thread...
I just stumbled up on this... this is really cool!
I'm curious, what is the possibility of adding a front HD audio I/O? Or just a headphone jack? Or is there anywhere I can purchase these and modify the case to fit it? Has anyone done this?
I have a few different headphones I like to swap...
Does anyone know if these use the same back light dimming method found in the Achieva Shimian where it reduces white levels instead of the voltage or power of the backlight itself?

I have a question... if this card had three or more gigs of VRAM would it even have the power to use it? In the instance of Far Cry 4 and watch dogs it seems like it's already on the edge with the high settings.
And have you noticed any coil whine or buzzing? I'm considering buying the MSI...
