    Gateway's FPD2185W: a 21in widescreen 2005fpw killer!

    I'm not sure exactly what the problem was. I did check and see that the PiP source was set up properly. It still wouldn't work. I did a reset to factory default settings and now it works. I didn't want to reset as I had taken the time to set up the color, gamma, etc, but once it reset PiP...

    Gateway's FPD2185W: a 21in widescreen 2005fpw killer!

    I'll double check, but I'm sure that I've selected every possible PiP source. No matter what source I choose it says that PIP isn't available. It doesn't say no signal. I'll look into this, but I'm 99.9% sure that I've set up the source.

    Gateway's FPD2185W: a 21in widescreen 2005fpw killer!

    I just got this LCD from my wife for an early birthday present. It has no dead pixels, and no buzzing at all. I have an issue when trying to use PiP when using DVI as my main display. All of the documentation states that component, composite, VGA and S-Video PiP is available when in DVI...

    A7N8X Deluxe -> NF7-S Swap?

    I pulled the swap, and everything worked 100%. Zero troubles so far.

    A7N8X Deluxe -> NF7-S Swap?

    The problem is my ASUS A7N8X is totally dead. I won't be able to back up anything at this point. I've had success with moving my IDE RAID setup from an ABIT KT7A-RAID (KT133A) EPoX 9K9A2+ (KT400). I hope that it will work, because I don't really want to go with an ASUS again.

    A7N8X Deluxe -> NF7-S Swap?

    My A7N8X Deluxe just borked on me. I use firewire and a RAID 0 SATA Array as well as two optical drives, and two IDE hard drives. My question is, am I going to be able to plug and play the RAID array as well as the OS? I will eventually do a reinstall, but I need to get my system up and...

    help with watercooling

    The PolarFLO block they tested was the first generation block. I remember reading that review a while back. Since then, there is a "SuperFinish" model, that actually improves their performance dramatically. Things change so fast that any amalgamated roundup is really out of date. The...

    Impossible??

    Yup, that's the program I used that has "Fine tuning" options. Here's a pic so you know the version number and can see it.

    About Barton multipliers

    The original link I was referring to is located here. Of course it is in russian, but take a translator and you'll do fine. Thanks for the heads up on the English version though weapon.

    2600+ Barton multiplier locked? Plz Help!

    Quite likely that your mobo doesn't acutally support 14x multipliers. Even though it is listed in the BIOS doesn't mean it will actually work. The 2600+ has an 11.5 multiplier, try 12x or even an 11x if you want to play it safe. If the frequency changes, you win!

    Impossible??

    Weird. I just downloaded it this morning, and it has fine tuning options for my wife's Syntax P4 Laptop.

    About Barton multipliers

    I've got a Barton 2600+ that is unlocked on my A7N8X-Deluxe. I also recently read an article somewhere that explains that these new CPU's can be unlocked. You have to close a bridge that allows them to be recognised as "Mobility" Athlons. It doesn't kill performance at all, but it does allow...

    help with watercooling

    The Eheim pump is quite large - I've used both Eheim and Hydor, and I actually prefer the Hydor. It's cheaper, quiet and about half the size. As far a WaterBlock goes, I'd personally recommend the PolarFLO SF series of blocks. They are making quite the name for themselves, as the king of the...

    Waterblock for a Radeon 8500?

    I am 95% sure that the Radeon blocks from PolarFLO will work. They have some killer performance, as you can see in this review. Good luck.
