    PC glitches after several hours

I looked everywhere and couldn’t find this setting in the bios. Any suggestions? AB350 board if that helps.

    PC glitches after several hours

It happens in the span of 24 hours. I wouldn’t consider that a long time. We have work PC’s that run for months on end without a restart and don’t have this issue, running the same version of Windows. If I restart the computer, turn off the monitor, and come back 24 hours later the problem is...

    PC glitches after several hours

I dont want to leave the monitor on though, as it runs 24/7 and the monitor is only on every couple days or so. That would use a lot more power to leave the monitor on than off, which I’d prefer not to do.

    PC glitches after several hours

Yes to both. A restart fixes it until it sits for more than a few hours again. 1700x on a b350 I think (I’ll double check when I get home).

    PC glitches after several hours

I’m on the most current windows update. Nvidia gpu with updated drivers. This PC is used as my Plex server. It runs 24/7. If I’m physically using the computer, it’ll run fine for hours on end without issue. When I shut the monitor off, the Plex server runs for days or weeks on end without issue...

    Move to "Gaming Headset"?

The PC37x is the Game One (open back). If you're wanting closed back, you'll need to look at the Game Zero. The PC37x is a fantastic gaming headset for the money.

    Move to "Gaming Headset"?

Have you looked at the Sennheiser Game One or Game Zero headsets? I use the Game One as my 'gaming headset' while still keeping a nice pair of dedicated cans for any time I don't need a mic. They're both analog, the only difference is the Game One is open back and the Game Zero is closed back...

When do you need a dedicated DAC?

Have you tried running it in wireless mode like they do on their site?

When do you need a dedicated DAC?

I just took a look at this on their site, I might take the plunge and try it either way. $99 seems like a pretty good value for a dac/amp that also supports the mic. I was expecting at least double that price from Schiit, but that seems like a pretty solid deal.

When do you need a dedicated DAC?

Both my headsets are analog (both Sennheiser, one HD558 and one PC37x). The z270 board seems to be a pretty high feature board, while the x570 board is more of a budget board. Both sound good to me now, but I've never heard a setup with an amp, dac, or amp/dac combo. I dont want to waste...

When do you need a dedicated DAC?

Currently I have headphones plugged directly to the motherboard for both setups. I see so many setups these days running external setups, made me wonder if there was a big step up in quality. It sounds like the amplifier might be the better thing to look at. Thanks for the very detailed reply, I...

When do you need a dedicated DAC?

I have two dedicated gaming PC's in the house, they are used strictly for gaming - no music, no movies, etc. At what point would a dedicated external DAC make a noticeable difference? Below are the MB specs listed on their websites, along with the headphones I'm using with them. Would either...
