Wanted to say thanks DoubleTap! I have the Plugable adapter you linked for me sitting on my desk now and it's working great so far. Really appreciate you letting me know that it exists as it's doing exactly what I need. Have all three 32" displays setup and running great at native resolution...
I had the same fantasy but realize I probably wouldn't travel with it anyway. I'm usually hard pressed enough to bring the dock for my Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately no TB3 on my version of the Latitude 7490, that would have been awesome. Thanks for all the help!
Out of curiosity, which eGPU dock did you go with?
Spun Ducky and jeremyshaw , you're both absolutely right, laptop model would definitely help; sorry for not including that. I'm using a Dell Latitude 7490 so nothing fancy. Also have an old Sager NP8658 / Clevo P650RG but I know that will be more of a struggle with no USB-C.
I'm fine with...
Hey all, long time no [H].
I want to run three 32" Monitors (LG 32GK650F / 32GK850F) on my laptop at their native QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution. I've tried a couple of different docks / port replicators but so far nothing that can handle all 3 at this resolution, or even 2 of them. I'd love to...
I have to completely agree with this. From the 8 or so hours I've actually been able to put into the game my most frequent thought has been how there is a camp, a place to loot, or some type of something to check out across every road or over every hill. It just doesn't have the feel of a 200...
My venerable old DLink DIR-655 is finally starting to require frequent reboots and is nearing the end of its useful life. I also have a new laptop on the way with 802.11ac capability so the time has come to upgrade to a new routing solution with wireless ac capability.
The network in my...
I got the problem resolved. Managed to get the computer hooked up via ethernet and there were new drivers for the DWA-552 available via Windows Update. Installed those and everything works great now. Just wish they had been available on D-Link's site.

It was a driver issue as everyone thought.
I connected via ethernet and ran Windows Update which had a new version of the driver. Everything works great now. I just wish that D-Link had that driver update on their website.

I brought it downstairs and it's running off of the ethernet fine; I'm posting from it now.
I had the card installed in my old XP machine before it went into the new build and it was working brilliantly. I have to assume the card is good.
I figured it was a driver or hardware conflict...
I don't have ethernet to connect it to, unfortunately that's why I need the wireless. I also do not have another wireless card but I am trying to get my hands on one.

Hey all, I could really use some help with this.
My new build (specs in my sig) is complete and everything is running well with one exception. Whenever I attempt to connect to my wireless network the computer freezes completely. Vista finds the network, I select connect, and it asks for my...
I dug out an old PS/2 keyboard and that freezes as well when I try to connect to the wireless network. At least with the PS/2 keyboard I can get into the motherboard bios; can't do that with the USB keyboard. The USB mouse will start working right away but the keyboard doesn't power up until...
