NCASE M1 version changelog and suggestions thread

Not really. I posted in the original m1 thread about how i remove my mine, in response to talk about broken clips and bent panels. On the bottom of the panel (the long side), there's just enough of a lip there to catch with your fingers. Pushing (or pulling) causes the panel clips to release...

I have a wdtv live in one of the bedrooms, (ive used wdtv media players for years) but man are they slow compared to newer players. Also, the samsung bluray player i have has so far played all the file formats i have. Ive been using serviio with success for the past few days but i'll check out...

I grabbed a few of these sata cables. Low profile connectors, very flexible and highly rated as well.

Recommend me a device for dlna streaming.

I wanted to avoid the software route since it would require my pc to be on all the time, but i think i will have a look into it. I'll give plex a try if serviio doesnt work for me. I actually own a g-box...its sitting in a closet collecting dust. :D I found that my samsung bluray htib played...

Recommend me a device for dlna streaming.

So, im looking for a simple easy way to stream video (mostly mp4) to my samsung bluray player. Currently i use a usb hard drive, moving it between my pc and bluray player whenever i have new content i want to watch. I can share it directly from my pc but dont want it running all the time. All i...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

All this talk about changing the panels to avoid bending and broken clips has me wondering how people are actually pulling their panels off. I always do mine from the long edges of the panels and they pop off really easily with only a small bit of force.

What will your M1 build contain!?

There are a few more that will fit without conflicting with anything else, check the ncase spreadsheet on the "things that work" tab. I went with a Cooler Master GeminII S524 for my gigabyte board.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Picked up my package today. Its been sitting at the post office since last Wednesday! I was surprised that it reached my country so fast (Bermuda), it usually takes months for stuff to get here from Asia. I wasnt expecting this case until after Christmas and i have no parts for it. :o...
