    I think HDMI just sends video, not audio. you may need to send the audio through digital coax or fiber.

    Use a vb script to determine if a user is logged in. Or just RDC to the computer, and it will let you know if someone if logged in with a message box.

    You could get a small switch and plug in both routers. Run one router with a DHCP scope of 192.x.x.x network and the other either a 10.x.x.x or a 172.x.x.x network

    Document everything that you have now. Then look at it as how old stuff is, document warranties too. Get quotes on what you would like to replace. Get quotes on expired warranties. Give them a business plan on why, ROI, etc.

    SonicWall is geared towards small business and offices. If you want a bit more powerful one you can look into WatchGuard as well.

    It is a pretty nice switch, we use those as well as the layer 3 version the 6200 series.

    Since we are a call center, and personnel move around day to day from computer to computer, we use a login script that grabs the computer name, username, time, logon, logoff, reboot, dirty logon, dirty log off and inserts it into a database. Then if someone says "Joe Smith's computer is broken"...
