    34" 21:9 UltraWide Displays (3440x1440) - LG UM95/UM65 & Dell U3415W

I have the GTX 970. So what do I need to do? Switch to the HDMI cable from the box and select the 3440x1440 res @ 60hz in Nvidia Control panel? Thank you!

Yes, I use picture screensaver, but when I know I'm going away from the pc for a while I just turn the monitor off or shut down the whole system since I use ssds and the boot time is really quick.

Isn't the hdmi limited to 50hz? As for the sleeping, I have turned it off in control panel > power settings, so it's not an issue anymore. Still the backlight bleeding is pretty awful but since I sold my previous monitor, I ain't gonna be sending it to the service for exchance any time soon =)

Talk to LG support about sending it to their service network and fixing it (with/without surcharge).

It makes the addons (map, health and ammo bars) a little bigger and they use more space on the screen. Maybe in shooter it's not a big deal but in a mmorpg when your screen is full of them, it makes a big difference. Yes, with tweaks you can make all of the issues work. In conclusion I'm still...

    34" 21:9 UltraWide Displays (3440x1440) - LG UM95/UM65 & Dell U3415W

Doing 2560x1080 on it makes the image too big, so you would have to sit further away from the monitor to enjoy it. If you play it on lower resolutions you either get the image stretched either you get the black bars on the side (which doesn't look good because of the bleeding on all corners). So...

    Wallpapers for 21:9 screens - 3440x1440 goodness!

For resizing / cropping / photo editing use Adobe Photoshop (CC latest version). I have downloaded a lot of high resolution images from Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescopes and cropped them to them 3440x1440 format, resulting in some stunning wallpapers :)

Yes, I am using the Asus Strix 970, with the latest Nvidia drivers. Don't think the driver is the problem.

I have mailed LG Support and they called me just now after a couple of minute (wow), and said to send it to the repair service if the problem reappears. Will probably do that since they have a LG Service in my current city.

    34" 21:9 UltraWide Displays (3440x1440) - LG UM95/UM65 & Dell U3415W

Hey guys. Just got my UM95 today, and it is spectacular. Yes it bleeds yellow on all corners, but it doesn't bother me that much. A bigger problem that I observed when I returned to the pc and it switched back on form sleep mode, the right half of the screen was shivering, the whole right...
