Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this is the best google result for the issue I'm having. This problem/solution is the same in Win7, and Aero is a major feature with snap and the like, so I was wondering if anyone has found a solution for the performance issues other than turning off aero?

ours is custom done as well, and uses an email authentication before securing the registrants spot. its sorts registrants by when they click the confirmation link in their email. no way to unreg, but it hasnt been anything our 2 admins cant handle so far. www.reglist.na-is.com

the fear mp blew me away while the quake4 mp was eh'ish at best imo. yea its the same old quake game, but its the same old quake game with no strafe jumping. thats like taking a guys nuts and telling him to go make babies, its just wrong :(
