Thank you geok1ng. I had expected these to be limited production runs, but hope ZisWorks will continue to make more batches available as we move forwards. At least for a few months! :D
I thought I would ask here so that my question (and subsequent response) could perhaps benefit others on the forum who aren't sure what to do.
Also, given the fact that cithrix is frequently on this thread, and of late this thread has centered around the topic of his work, I am curious why you...
Thanks for that. I guess I mean, is what I need available now? I've been to the ZisWorks site and not sure what to order.
Would I order the entire 39” no panel kit?
Also, will these be available on an ongoing basis? As much as I'd love to shell out that cold, hard, chedda right now...
Great job cirthix!
So, what does a dummy like me, who owns a Seiki se39uy04, but doesn't understand all of the technical bits, do to transform his monitor into a 4k120hz one?
I have the kind of technical skill necessary to take a monitor apart and do what needs to be done (I fixed my little...
Now that's what I call progress!
I've been watching this thread like a hawk since you started cirthix, and dayuuuuum is it ever starting to get interesting! :D
Anything happen in the last two weeks? I've been following this thread closely and I can say it would be a real shame to see another hopeful project get dropped!
Buddy..... YOU ARE SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!
I came here today expecting nothing and got some very cool news indeed! Thanks! smile.gif
Now to get 1080p working with 3D, and get that scaling figured out! Then..... THE WORLD!!!
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY!
(Here too? A guy...
YungMoni is back on it. If anybody here has the knowledge to help him you should head over to the linked thread and lend a hand! :)

I suspect he was referring to how much smoother 38hz is over 30hz, to see if it would even be worth attempting to fix the scaling issue.
My answer to that would be, when you are dealing with such low refresh rates, almost anything is a worthwhile improvement!
Just a word of warning: I can get my Seiki to 3840x2160@38hz as well, but as pbassjunk stated, it is scaley as fuck; in other words, it looks terrible.
Until somebody like YungMoni makes some headway on the scaling, you really don't want to bother.
I would like to try YungMoni's FW but I don't think anybody has gotten it to work yet.
Edit: A Wild YungMoni Appears!

My thinking was only that YungMoni seemed to have access to a large amount of settings.
I agree, I would much rather disable the scaling than anything else!
Does anybody have experience with the Seiki U-VISION scaling cable? Does it make 1440p on this TV look any better?
