    I have adequate power (300w Antec) and my Epox 8RDA+ (latest BIOS/drivers) will randomly restart when I try to run programs. Is there a reason?

    Maybe a slight gain in video encoding when SSE3 is written into optimizers, but other than that it was a bad decision. The 1 MB cache isn't gonna help, it needs that just to be able to compensate for errors in its longer pipeline.
