They already sold one of (not Burlington) their 200mm fabs and are in the process of getting rid of one of the Singapore fabs, the article is referring to the 300mm fabs that are left
Sorry if I didn't explain it in full. If I copy all of the Windows stuff and then format it won't Windows no longer work? If so I couldn't copy my C drive back over

As I've said before, if you're going to use Plex (and I do) transcode using Handbrake so the server has little work to do. Just queue them up in Handbrake and let them transcode at your leisure. This way you need very little in terms of a Plex server and are only limited by you ISP upload speed...
Anyone in the Fab business will tell you that that really isn't feasible. Sometimes just a few cycles of power loss interrupting the process is enough to scrap wafers
You need to see what % your cpu is running at when Plex is running. If it's not high then changing cpu's won't help and points to the network not being able to keep up. Even the slowest drives are fast enough for Plex
You only need a good processor to transcode on the fly. I use an A6-9500E AMD and with 6 1080P streams I'm at about 20% CPU usage. What I do is use Handbrake to transcode all my stuff ahead of time (queue it up and let it run) then you don't need anything special server wise. My opinion, the...
